Enough Already!
Can we please move on from this crazy Obama-mania nonsense! I get it, he's the male Oprah, going to save the world. Let's not forget (b/c we've only heard it a million times) that his wife wore some kind of bizarre yellow-green outfit for his inauguration and the girls wore JCrew. Seriously! Do we not have other issues that are more important than what brand those kids wore. Here are some ideas...the war, our economy, our new VP and his wife who are a trainwreck waiting to happen.

Oh so true!! Everyone is talking about his plan for our "Infrastructure”, to boost jobs. The administration has asked every state for the “Shovel ready job list”. What that really means; they want to know how many jobs can be bid within the first three months of his administration. In short, they will bid paving and bridge rehab jobs that will not increase the need for new jobs. The push should be toward creating and designing new roadways and rebuilding the bridges that are 50+ years old (well past the standard lifetime and safety standards). Our company bid a job in Mississippi last Tuesday in which we came in 4th and 8 million too high. The kicker, our bid was 35% BELOW the DOT’s engineer estimate. Right now everyone is bidding to keep up cash flow and not loose the few employees they have left! Plant your gardens and buy a milking cow, we may need them to survive!
